As Braive continues to grow across the Nordics and into new markets, strengthening and scaling our relationships with insurance companies becomes increasingly important. The insurance market plays a central role in how we scale access to high-quality, evidence-based mental health care in Sweden, and this role sits at the centre of that work.
This is a Senior Business Development role focused on building and developing Braive’s partnerships with insurance providers. You will explore where Braive creates the most meaningful value for insurers, take ownership from the very first conversation through pilots and into long-term agreements, and actively shape how digital mental health solutions are embedded into early interventions and claims-related processes.
About the Role
A core part of the role is finding the right opportunities and understanding where Braive fits best within the insurance landscape, and where our solutions create the strongest value for insurers.
Map and engage the key decision-makers and influencers across medical, operational, and commercial functions
Identify where in the claims journey Braive creates measurable value, and prioritise the highest-impact entry points
Uncover how insurers run early intervention and prevention initiatives, and translate that into concrete partnership opportunities
Turn insights into forward motion by defining next steps, aligning stakeholders, and advancing opportunities through the pipeline
Creating and advancing partnerships
This role owns the partnership journey end to end. You are responsible for moving opportunities forward with intent, from first contact, through pilots and into long-term agreements, while keeping momentum and trust high across all stakeholders.
Lead partnership processes with insurance companies end to end, from first outreach and discovery to negotiation and signed agreements
Align the right stakeholders, steer decision-making, and remove blockers to keep momentum through complex buying processes
Own pilots as structured proof points, capture outcomes, and convert successful pilots into long-term agreements and expansion
Building foundations for scale
Beyond individual deals, you will help ensure that the processes we build can scale over time.
Work with insurance partners to co-create frameworks, pilots, and ways of working that fit both Braive’s solutions and insurers’ operational realities
Capture learnings, patterns, and recurring challenges from market dialogues
Improve pitch materials, narratives, and supporting documentation based on what actually works
Establish a repeatable cadence for pipeline, CRM, and follow-up that supports consistent progress and forecasting
Success in this role means:

About you
You’re a commercially minded Business Development professional who thrives in complex, regulated environments. You’re motivated by both winning new business and growing existing insurance customers, and you know how to drive opportunities from first conversation to signed agreement.

You navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making across medical, operational, and commercial roles
You create momentum in ambiguous situations and push toward clear outcomes
You’re ambitious, persistent, and easy to work with
Must haves
Fluent in Swedish and English
Experience working with Swedish insurance providers or within the insurance ecosystem
Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with clinical and product teams
Nice to haves
Experience in regulated B2B, healthcare, or healthtech
Experience in taking complex opportunities from early conversations to signed agreements
Experience using pilots as proof points and converting them into long-term agreements
Strong track record working with clinical or medical stakeholders
Used to building light structure (CRM hygiene, pipeline cadence, templates)

We like working together in person. Collaboration is faster, clearer, and honestly more fun when you can grab a coffee and solve things in the same room.
Our main office is in beautiful Gamla Stan in Stockholm, with quick access to the rest of the city. We aim to spend a meaningful part of the week together at the office, and we’re intentional about keeping most days as in-person by default.
